About the apartment

Located on the second floor of Chalet Barmaz, in the Le Joseray area of Val d’Isère, Mélinda is a pleasant two-room apartment of around 40 m², ideal for a mountain break for couples, families or friends.

Sleeping up to 4 people, the apartment has its own private entrance and offers a warm, comfortable setting to enjoy your holiday in Val d’Isère, summer or winter.

An apartment with authentic charm

Mélinda has a lovely chalet feel, with a mountain-style sloping ceiling and exposed beams that give it a warm, authentic atmosphere.

It has a bedroom with a 160 × 200 cm double bed. The living room also has a 160 cm double sofa bed, sleeping two more people.

Relax in the cosy living room, with TV and free Wi-Fi.

A fully equipped kitchen

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an oven, a four-ring induction hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Nespresso-type capsule machine and an electric filter coffee maker.

Bathroom and toilet

The apartment has a bathroom with a bathtub, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes or a mountain hike. The toilet is separate, for added everyday comfort.

A great location in Val d’Isère

Chalet Barmaz enjoys a sought-after location in Le Joseray, at the foot of the famous Face de Bellevarde, a legendary name in alpine skiing.

In winter, a ski run can be reached on foot about 50 metres away, across a small snowy area. From there, the run takes you to the ski area and the Val d’Isère lifts.

A restaurant, a small supermarket and a ski hire shop are about 100 metres from the chalet. The village centre is also within walking distance.

A free shuttle bus stop is right next to the chalet, making it easy to get around the resort and reach the different sectors of Val d’Isère.

Ideal for families and groups

The Mélinda, Marie and Faustina apartments are on the same landing, on the second floor of Chalet Barmaz. You can book one, two or all three apartments, depending on your needs and availability.

This makes them ideal for large families, families travelling together or groups of friends who want to holiday in Val d’Isère while keeping the comfort, privacy and independence of separate apartments.

Covered parking nearby

A covered parking space close to the chalet can be rented, subject to availability. Booking in advance is recommended. This service is charged in addition to the apartment rental.

Self-catering mountain holidays

In winter, enjoy the Val d’Isère–Tignes ski area and its alpine scenery. In summer, discover the hiking trails and magnificent mountain views.
