Françoise welcomes you and hands over the keys between 5 pm and 8 pm. If you will arrive later, let us know and we will explain how to let yourself in.

Optional: a covered parking space nearby, to book in advance with the apartment, subject to availability.
Booking, minimum stay and cancellation
- Minimum stay
- 7 nights with a Saturday arrival, Saturday to Saturday in winter; close to the dates, some free slots open up to shorter stays
- Flex rate
- paid when you book; free cancellation with a full refund up to 42 days before arrival; after that, the full stay is due
- Strict rate
- 10% cheaper than the Flex rate, paid when you book; cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded
- Security deposit
- €1,200 by card on arrival, returned within 7 days of departure at the latest
- Tourist tax
- €1.87 per adult (18 and over) per night, on top of the price of the stay

Getting here
Chalet Barmaz, 67 rue du Joseray, 73150 Val-d’Isère, France
- By car
- Via Albertville (86 km, about 1 hr 20), then the RD 902 to Val d’Isère. From 1 November to 31 March, winter tyres (marked 3PMSF) or snow chains are compulsory throughout Savoie. The Col de l’Iseran road is closed in winter.
- Parking
- A covered parking space near the chalet can be rented as an option, to book with the apartment. The village’s public car parks are paid in winter and free in summer; they can be booked at parkingvaldisere.com.
- By train
- Bourg-Saint-Maurice TGV station is 30 km away. The Altibus coach (line S82, all year) takes 40 to 50 min to Val d’Isère bus station in La Daille; the free shuttles take you on from there.
- By air
- Nearest airports by car: Chambéry (about 2 hrs), Grenoble (2 hrs 30), Geneva and Lyon (3 hrs). In winter, coaches run from Geneva and Lyon to Val d’Isère (Altibus; also Ben’s Bus and Alpine Fleet from Lyon airport).

Frequently asked questions
Can we book several apartments?
Yes. Mélinda, Faustina and Marie share the same landing; you can book one, two or all three, subject to availability, for up to sixteen guests.
Are bed linen, towels and cleaning included?
Yes, in all three apartments. End-of-stay cleaning is included.
Where do we keep our skis?
Each apartment has its own ski locker.
Is there a lift?
No. All three apartments are on the second floor, up the stairs.
Can we park?
A covered parking space nearby can be rented as an option, to book in advance with the apartment, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed.
Do we need a car once there?
Not necessarily: a free shuttle bus stops right next to the chalet, and the village centre is under 10 minutes’ walk away.
