Le Joseray

Le Joseray is a hamlet of Val d’Isère, below the Face de Bellevarde. In 1937-38, the central school that awarded the first ski instructor diplomas opened here.

Above it, the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges chapel of Le Joseray, recorded since 1633, overlooks the Manchet valley. It is the largest of Val d’Isère’s rural chapels.
